In Memory - Luiz DeCarvalho
It is with sadness we report the passing of Luiz DeCarvalho on Friday August 12th after a 5 month battle with cancer. Luiz was an excellent competitive golfer, especially in team events. His other special talent was his singing voice. He entertained at many social events at Whitevale, and his favorite crooner was Dean Martin. He was a favorite with many of the members with his friendly personality and infectious smile. When leaving the lounge after golf, it would sometimes take half an hour for him to reach the locker room after greeting and saying hello to many members. He will be missed by all. The family held a private ceremony which has taken place.
