We had a fully subscribed event and the event went about what you would think for Whitevale nowadays.  It was windy, cold, rainy etc etc etc.... but it didnt reflect on how great the scores were and how much fun everyone had.  Congratulations go out to our winners, Scott Bradley, Jack Price, Gord Smith and Brad Lagasse!!!  The top four results are;

Jr Scholarship Fund - Raffle Winners

Yesterday we held our Jr Scholarship Fund Raffle and our goal was to raise $1,000. With tremendous support from the membership we surpassed our number and raised over $1,700. We had great support from a number of our junior members and would like to thank Ryan Hastings, Claire Hastings, Matthew Gianfriddo, Theo Mahon and Michael Mahon for their time and effort. We also would like to thank Mark Crerar, Mike Mahon and Julie Hastings for helping our juniors sell tickets. We held our lucky draw this morning and congratulations to the following winners:

Hole in One - Wade Brackenbury

The door was opened recently and now they are coming fast and furious.  Congratulations go out to Wade Brackenbury who made a HOLE IN ONE on our 9th hole using his 5 iron.

First Hole in One of the year

Congratulations go out to Wayne Wellman that made a hole in one on hole #12 during our Men's Weekday Opening Field Day. Great shot Wayne!!

Raffle Winner

Congratulations to Sandra Milner-Docking who won the lucky raffle in support of "Operation 36". Sandra gets to use the "women's club championship" parking spot until we crown a new winner in early August. With the help of our captains committee members Sue Dickinson, Lisa Mackie, Linda Briggs and Julie Pingree; they were able to raise $390 for the pilot project. This golf development program will be used with a few members of our junior members in 2019. The funds raised will be put towards software that will assist in running this year's trial.
