We are very sad to announce the passing of Robert “Bob” Miles. Bob was an original member of Whitevale and served as President from 1969 – 1971. Our deepest sympathies to his family and friends. Please see the obituary below.
Miles, Robert – (32nd degree member at Gothic Lodge #608 - Lindsay) - Passed away peacefully at the Ross Memorial Hospital with family by his side on Wednesday, December 5th. Robert at the age of 89, was the beloved husband of Muriel Miles in their 68 years of marriage. Loving father of Sharron Robertson (Douglas) and Robert Miles (Faye). Cherished grandfather of Sean, Stacy and Jennifer. Great-grandfather of Cierra, Skylar, Autumn, Mason, Sophie and Adelaide. Dear brother of Margaret Wellings (Donald) and the late Gloria Ewing (the late Forbes). Beloved brother in law of Audrey (the late Don), Shirley (Bob), and Dave (Marg). As per Robert’s wishes cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation or funeral service.
