Don't Call it a Comeback - The Mystery Bus Rides Again!

On Tuesday May 30th over sixty women, in two groups, hit the road early in the morning not knowing their destination! Upon arrival our Whitevale ladies were thrilled to find themselves at Lookout Point Country Club, and vice versa! Many of the Lookout Point ladies had not seen Whitevale since the addition of the new Clubhouse, or in some cases, ever!

After a great day of golf, food, and friends, all were back on the road to their homes and looking forward to next year's mystery!

In Memory - Luiz DeCarvalho

It is with sadness we report the passing of Luiz DeCarvalho on Friday August 12th after a 5 month battle with cancer. Luiz was an excellent competitive golfer, especially in team events. His other special talent was his singing voice. He entertained at many social events at Whitevale, and his favorite crooner was Dean Martin. He was a favorite with many of the members with his friendly personality and infectious smile. When leaving the lounge after golf, it would sometimes take half an hour for him to reach the locker room after greeting and saying hello to many members. He will be missed by all. The family held a private ceremony which has taken place.

Men's Member-Guest

It's the featured event of the year at Whitevale and it was great inviting back our guests for the MMG who have been absent since 2019. We could have not be given better weather over the two day stretch. The competition was outstanding and the comradery event better. The participants were treated to a shoot-out that featured holed bunker shots and putts from long range. In the end, the team of John & Ryan Trimble were victorious. Congratulations to them and all of the participants who played this year, we look forward to seeing everyone in 2023!
